We are pure chemistry, you, me, you and me …
As a science student, I was fascinated by the importance of a catalyst in its function of accelerating a chemical reaction.
It is not that it changes the reaction or the resulting product, or that they add to it, no, the reaction takes place with or without them. The contact with the elements increases their speed so that they reach their state of equilibrium more quickly without altering the properties of this balance or without being consumed during the process. It is also effective in very small quantities and it will not favor a process that is not spontaneous.
If someone were to ask me what can be expected from my book ¡Make HAPPINESS Want You!, or what I would aspire to after writing it, I would point out that the idea is to act as a catalyst between the reader and the reality of life. Each one of his potential readers would reach the same wisdom, simply that its reading would allow them to accelerate the speed of the acquisition of that indispensable wisdom to be happy. Neither more nor less.
Reading it during youth would mean making sure that we have the basic tools to face life before going out to it, climbing the stairs of knowledge in pairs, in a quicker and more agile way. Get to the top and enjoy a good view more quickly, with less effort.
Reach a summit where you can watch the potential danger and plan a good strategy before a possible attack, or simply enjoy some beautiful views.
I know that enjoying a good perspective in life is a great advantage, an aid in the right choice of the best decisions, whether it comes face to face or if they come badly.
I have met people who have acted as a catalyst in my life, as a facilitator of relationships, who have helped me make the right choices in the right direction, who have streamlined my process to become a happier person, and they have done it without leaving a trace but in my heart, without wanting to appear, they were simply there and they helped me to glimpse a Higher Level to which we all aspire, to which we all want to reach and in which we want to be. Then they left and left me with a warmth difficult to explain, with the memory of their smile… without more, in small quantities, without prominence.
Today I feel that their hands have passed me the witness of what for me would be my best and most desired relief: facilitate, accompany and release at the beginning of their pathway, the people with whom I speak, as they would have done by themselves, but with less detours, with fewer scratches, with fewer twists and damages…
I notice that by sharing my experiences, the people with whom I speak «react», move, see more clearly where they want to go, trust to get there and keep going. To see this people stand up determined to take back the reins of their life and to dare with it, although the direction sometimes is still not entirely clear, give me a very pleasant sensation, fullness.
Discovering our best virtue and putting it at the service of others to help each one reach their personal excellence, and thus be able, as in a chain, to also serve others from their new best version, makes each of us become the unique and indispensable piece that moves the gear of this world; the catalyst of the chemical reaction necessary to reach our state of equilibrium, giving ourselves the paradox that believing to help others we become happy.
