I want a country that I can feel proud of it.
I want a country where being a woman is a quality,
a value to appreciate.
Where motherhood is a joy and not an anxiety.
Where I do not have to choose between my job or raise.
Where my daughter can walk down the street without fear,
where men watch over our safety,
and we feel protected night and day,
at all times and places.
I want a country with a special sensitivity
for education, for the family, for health.
I want a country with an excellent education,
with motivated and award-winning teachers,
with schools in which the creativity of each student is the starting line,
and the happiness of our children, the goal to go through.
I want a university where we can do sports
and learn to dialogue with full freedom,
where we are formed as people for life,
to help and not so much to win,
to enjoy each other in diversity.
Where to doctors and health workers
we are known and appreciated for our hard work,
the lack of sleep and the sleeplessness that every day we spend
for our patients, with them.
A country where politicians serve us,
that they are useful, give up their ego
and think about the needs we have.
Where there are agreements, willingness to understand,
where nobody wins and we all stay the same,
where nobody is better, just different
We want to get up and be able to work,
for a fuller life
for having where and what to live with,
to offer our children the best training,
the best education
I want a country where we share,
those who have more with those who have less,
where cultural differences are a source of pride,
of admiration on the part of the different ones,
and where we work hand in hand for common goals,
to be better, that we all be one.
Where all ideas have a place
whatever color they have,
no matter where they come from
I want a united country,
a diverse country,
a modern country
a happy country,
a country that is yours, mine, ours…
